Who is FDEOS for?

Two sides. Implementers — Forward Deployed Engineers, Applied AI engineers, AI Solutions Engineers, AI consultants, and ex-McKinsey ops people who learned to code. And the operators hiring them — CAIOs, functional VPs, PE-backed CEOs, SMB founders trying to deploy AI.

How is this different from LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is a generic professional network. FDEOS is verified, vertical-specific, and built around the implementer skill stack (Claude, Cursor, n8n, LangGraph, voice agents). You can't fake an ex-Anthropic badge here.

How is this different from a boutique recruiter?

Recruiters charge 22-30% and source serially. We pre-verify the implementer roster, run the intake in 12 minutes via voice, and either let you self-serve (Talent Search $499/mo flat) or route you to a licensed Founding Partner agency. FDEOS itself never charges a placement fee.

What does 'verified' mean?

Bronze: work email confirmed. Silver: LinkedIn + GitHub + 1 reference. Gold: manually vetted by FDEOS or confirmed by a paying employer. Founding 100 is the first 100 verified, lifetime Pro.

Where do the jobs come from?

Daily Firecrawl ingest across 50+ priority employers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Stripe, etc), classified by Claude Haiku to ≥60 implementer-fit score. Expanding to 200+ employers by week 4.

How does FDEOS make money?

Subscriptions + per-lead fees + per-intake — never a placement fee. Talent Search is $499/mo. Featured listings are $499/post. Founding Partner agencies pay a subscription + per-lead fee for our intake routing; their own placement fees with you are set by them, not us. We don't take a cut of any placement.

What if I'm not actively looking but want to be in the directory?

Set availability to 'Stealth'. Your profile is only visible to verified employers paying Talent Search, and you can hide from your current employer's domain entirely.

How does the voice intake work?

Vapi-powered. 12 questions, ~12 minutes, mobile-first. We generate a branded AI Hiring Roadmap PDF for you and an internal scorecard for routing. Email gate is at the end so you can leave anytime.
